“THE EMIGRANTS”- Mixes Shock, Parody and Political References to Remind Us Truth Comes from Simple Things. Polish Dramatist Slawomir Mrozek’s Best-Known Play Comes to The Artistic Home Theatre. “The Emigrants,” takes a look at the hopes and dreams of two emigrants, whose behaviors bring an air of absurdity, parody and comedy to the play. The exchange of their political philosophies is juxtaposition between a simple-minded emigrant, XX, played by Goran Milev and an intellectual emigrant, AA, played by Joe Mack.
